Mountainous Queen Land of Murree is situated on the Pir Panjal Mountain Range in the Rawalpindi District of Punjab, Pakistan. It is a crescent like outskirt of the Rawalpindi Islamabad cosmopolitan region. Coordinates of Murree are 33° 54′ 15″ N and 73° 23′ 25″ E with an average altitude of 7,517 feet. While making merry at Murree, there are enormous mountainous ridges on view. It is a prevalent hilly station from 1851 in the British era and in 1953, a permanent settlement was built in Murree. Since then it has become a unique hub of picnics, visits and trips on the continuous bases. It is at a distance of 35 kilometers from Islamabad in the north of east of Islamabad alongside the Islamabad Muzaffarabad Highway, N75. Murree characterizes a subtropical environment.
